Did you know?

Poems can be anything. They can be all punctuation, no punctuation, a jumble of words, two words long or anything else you can think of! Poetry is the job you can get closest to goofing off, I guess. Lol. Below is a real poem, in a poetry book for children:

A dollified me

Obviously I'm not putting pics of me on my blog because I'm not stupid, but this is the doll picture that looks most like me, so yeah.

Food

As you already know, food is an essential part of our lives. It keeps us alive and full of energy, and provides us with nutrients to make our bodies grow. As it is so compulsory to eat, we enjoy it much more if the food is nice.

I am sure you like food. I love food. My favourites are italian food and smoothies. What is your favourite food? Tell me in comments!!!!!

Creative writing

If you want to be a creative writer, you've come to the right place! Unfortunately, I can't make you a creative writer, but I can give you some tips on writing stories and becoming a better writer.

READ LOADS! This is really important, as it widens your vocab and gives you good ideas on styles and stuff like that.

Never write more than one story at a time. This gets confusing, and neither of the stories will be as good as they might have been if you'd only been working on one.

Ideas can come from anywhere; always look out for interesting names, people and personalities.

Keep a diary, recording all the exciting or unusual events in particular. Events where you've had strong emotions can be good as well.

Try to develop your main characters very well. The more you "know" your characters, the better the story will be.

Plot the story first and make sure you know all the key events and where the story is going to end.

And, most importantly,

ENJOY YOURSELF!!!!
